Along with his wife, Mariana Landmann Auriemo, José Auriemo Neto has two children, a son and a daughter. In 2015 the whole family moved temporarily to New York City for half of a year. The reason for this was that his company was in the process of building a five-star hotel on Fifth Avenue located just across the street from Central Park.
