At long last, Banco Bradesco has announced the replacement of its current President, Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi.
Octavio Lazari Junior, will be taking over as the President of Banco Bradesco after the shareholders meeting on March 13, 2018. Lazari started working with Bradesco in 1978. He rose through the ranks until he became an agency manager. At the turn of the year 1998, he was appointed to the credit department of the bank where he assumed the position of Director. His responsibilities then were to respond to the needs of corporate and small and medium sized retail segments. He got promoted as Department Director in 2010, and was tasked to oversee the Loans Department of Bradesco.
Other names came up for the promotion to the President’s seat, among them are: Vice President Mauricio Minas of the technology department, Vice President Alexander Gluher of Investor Relations, Vice President Josue Pancini head of agency network, Vice President Marcelo Noronha of the cards and investment, and Vice President Andre Cano of the human resources department.
Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi is a native of Marilia, Brazil. He was born of October 06, 1951. He finished Philosophy at Sao Paulo’s School of Philosophy, Sciences and Literature. He was hired at Banco Bradesco in 1969, and like his replacement, Octavio de Lazari Junior, he likewise rose through the ranks until he attained his present position as President and CEO of Banco Bradesco.
Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi’s position as Chief Executive Officer came about when his predecessor, Lazaro Brandao retired from the bank at age 91.
